How does it know about my business?
You give it your website URL. It reads your public pages and builds a private knowledge base, so it answers using your real content. You can also add custom questions and answers for anything that isn't on the site.
Will it make things up?
It's built to answer only from your knowledge base. When it doesn't have a confident answer, it doesn't guess: it offers to connect the visitor with your team instead.
Which languages does it support?
Dutch, French and English out of the box, detected automatically from each visitor. Perfect for serving customers across Belgium with a single assistant.
What does the handoff look like?
When a visitor needs a human, the conversation goes to the channel you've chosen: live chat in your dashboard (with a push alert), WhatsApp, Slack or email. Your team gets the summary and the visitor's details if they shared them, and the visitor stays in the chat window while you reply.
Is there a per-conversation fee?
No. You pay one flat monthly price for your plan's monthly AI replies. No surprise usage bills, no charge per conversation. Each plan also has a daily fair-use ceiling of about one tenth of its monthly replies; past it the assistant shows a short offline notice until the next day.
Where does my data live?
LimeliChat runs on servers in the EU (AWS, Ireland/Frankfurt) that we operate. The AI models that write the answers (Anthropic, Voyage AI) process messages in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses. Conversations and any visitor details you collect belong to you, and are covered by a clear data processing agreement.
